Rezai is another youngster who has developed through the ranks with Halifax Town. He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract in October 2000 shortly after Paul Bracewell took over as manager and marked his senior debut with a stunning goal against Cheltenham. He then went on to enjoy a short run in the first team. He can play either at right back or in a central midfield role.
