Carl Baker, who joined Southport from Prescot Cables, played for Liverpool during his youth career.
He joined Morecambe in July 2007 with a three-year contract.
Carl joined Stockport County in July 2008 in a three-year deal.
He joined Coventry City in January 2010 with a contract to June 2012.
Carl joined Milton Keynes Dons in September 2014 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2016 in May 2015.
He joined Portsmouth in July 2016 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in August 2017.
Carl re-joined Coventry City in March 2018 with a contract to June 2018.
