As a 15 year-old, Byron Lawrence was selected on Ipswich Town's subs bench for the first time on 9 August 2011 in a Carling Cup tie against Northampton Town.
He joined Colchester United in September 2014 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2016 in May 2015 before it was cancelled in January 2016.
