Brian Steen Nielsen
| Date of birth | 28 December 1968 |
| Nationality | Danish |
| Position | Midfielder |
Now approaching the veteran stage of his career, Brian made his bow in international football for Denmark against Egypt in February 1990. Over a decade later he is still a regular in the squad. At club level, he played for Vejle BK and OB Odense before spending two seasons in Turkey with Fenerbahce. He had a second spell at OB before spending time in Japan with Urawa Red Diamonds and then returning to Scandinavia with AB Copenhagen. Brian joined Malmo last summer after a switch to Everton appeared on the cards. Although he no longer has the pace of earlier years, his experience should bring confidence to the younger squad members.
