Bobby Zamora joined Brighton & Hove Albion permanently in the summer of 2000 after enjoying a successful loan spell in 1999-2000 and continued where he had left off, scoring goals regularly throughout the campaign.
His tally of 31 in all competitions included hat-tricks against Torquay United and Macclesfield Town and he became the first Seagulls' player since Garry Nelson in 1987-88 to score more than 30 goals in a season.
A powerful and stylish striker, he is effective both in the air and on the ground and attracted attention from a number of scouts from higher-level clubs.
His goals were a key factor in Brighton winning the Third Division title in 2000-01.
Bobby was honoured by his fellow professionals with a place in the PFA's Third Division team.
He joined Tottenham Hotspur in July 2003 for £1.5million on a three-year contract but moved to West Ham United in February 2004 in the deal that saw Jermaine Defoe move to White Hart Lane.
Zamora's contract at West Ham United was extended to June 2010 in January 2006, then to June 2011 in October 2006.
He joined Fulham in July 2008 with a four-year contract that was extended to June 2014 in September 2010.
Bobby joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2012 with a contract to June 2014 that was extended to June 2015 in July 2014.
He re-joined Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2015 with a one-year contract.
