Mamoum had spent the whole of the 1999-2000 campaign on loan at Red Star Paris before being released on his return to St Etienne in the close season. He linked up with Scunthorpe United last August and came on from the subs' bench for the last 20 minutes at Rochdale. He failed to impress and after playing in a reserve game he was released later that week. After a brief trial at Oldham he signed for the German Regionnaliga Nord club Werder Bremen Amateure where he was still playing at the end of the season. A former Cameroon U17 international, he is a right-sided midfielder with a good touch.
