Billy Sharp joined Scunthorpe United in August 2005 with a three-year contract.

He returned to Sheffield United in July 2007 in a four-year deal but was made available for transfer in July 2009.

After a loan spell, Billy joined Doncaster Rovers in July 2010 with a three-year contract.

He joined Southampton in January 2012 with a contract to June 2015.

Billy joined Leeds United in August 2014 with a two-year contract.

He re-joined Sheffield United United in July 2015 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2019 in July 2017 and to June 2022 in June 2020.
