He started at Highlanders before moving to France to play for Lens in 1991. He moved between Eendracht Aalst, Harelbeke, Wagerem and Tielen in Begium before moving to Grazer AK in Austria in 1998. He made his international debut in January 2000 against Tunisia in the African Nations' Cup Finals and has been a regular squad member ever since. He just missed the squad for the 2002 African Nations' Finals but the omission of Victor Ikpeba has opened the door. At club level he became one of the only African players to ply his trade in China signing for Shenyang Gendi in 2002 He will only take part from the bench.
