Morley struggled to win a place in the Hull City first-team squad under new manager Brian Little last season. He was restricted to just three outings from the subs bench and spent the remainder of the campaign in the Tigers reserve team. A promising young right wing back, he was released at the end of the 2001-02 season and briefly joined League new boys Boston United.
