Welsh international with well over 50 caps. With Everton, FA Cup winner 1995
Current chairman of the PFA. Barry's arrival at Kidderminster in August 2000 brought much needed experience to the newly-promoted team. Operating in a central midfield role he scored with a cracking 25-yard drive to clinch victory over Torquay in the Harriers' first-ever Football League game but generally took some time to settle in at Aggborough. Although he featured regularly in the squad he was one of several players transfer listed in January and after being released in March he linked up with Second Division Walsall to assist with their promotion campaign. After two brief appearances from the subs' bench he went on to give an assured display to help the Saddlers beat Northampton in the final Second Division game of the season. A vastly experienced midfield anchor man he has a combative approach to the game that inspires his team-mates. He was released in the summer and has now moved to non-League Belper.
