Bayes finally made the 'keeper's jersey his own at Leyton Orient in 2000-01.
Full of confidence and an excellent shot stopper, he is a huge favourite of the Brisbane Road faithful.
Some of the highlights of his campaign came in the cup ties against Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur when he performed creditably well and prevented both Alan Shearer and Sergei Rebrov from scoring against the Os.
