Ritchie, former schoolboy international striker, had a brilliant start at Old Trafford, especially a superb 'hat trick' v. Leeds. Disgracefully allowed to leave (to Brighton) becoming a legend at Oldham. Has managed several League clubs, notably Oldham Athletic.
Ritchie was appointed manager at Oldham Athletic in May 1998.
