PositionGoalkeeper

Some sources state that keeper Tony Coton played in goal for Manchester City (instead of Andy Dibble) in their Premier League game against Manchester United on 11 February 1995 in error.

He had suffered a knee injury in the previous week's game against Southampton when he was replaced at half-time by Andy.

With first choice goalkeepers Carlo Nash and Lee Jones unavailable, veteran Andy answered Stockport County's emergency call for the daunting trip to Blackburn Rovers in November 2000.

Unfazed, he went on to produce a 'Man of the Match' performance keeping the Rovers' forwards at bay with a series of magnificent saves until he was eventually beaten by Craig Hignett's injury-time free kick.

Only days after his 38th birthday, Andy signed a new one-year contract with newly promoted Wrexham in May 2003.
