Dawson joined Carlisle United on a non-contract basis last December but his only senior appearance came from the subs' bench in the LDV Vans Trophy tie at Kidderminster and in February he moved on to join Conference club Scarborough. Formerly at York Dawson is a youngster who can play both in midfield and defence.
