This big hard-working striker scored Sheffield Wednesday's first goal of the 2000-01 campaign to earn the club a 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers and featured regularly for the Owls until a surprise loan move to Tottenham Hotspur in the New Year.
Desperate for a big man up front with Les Ferdinand, Steffen Iversen and Chris Armstrong all out injured, boss David Pleat turned to Andy as a short-term solution.
He did well in his stay at White Hart Lane but, with his contract at Hillsborough due to run out in the summer, he was then sold to his former club Huddersfield Town on Transfer Deadline Day.
A classic target man and a hard worker, he made an instant impact with a 'Man of the Match' performance on his return, scoring in the 4-1 defeat of Portsmouth at the McAlpine Stadium.
Andy signed a new three-year contract with Huddersfield Town in August 2003.
His Terriers contract was extended to June 2009 in April 2007.
