Fotiadis was dogged throughout the 2000-01 campaign by hamstring and groin problems and these not only prevented him from getting a decent run in the Luton Town team but also cost him the chance of a call-up to the Cyprus national team. He is a lively striker with good skills on the ball and a useful scoring record.
Fotiadis joined Peterborough United in February 2003 on a two-and-a-half year contract but went on Posh's transfer list in March 2004 before his contract was cancelled in July 2004.
