Jeannin was one of a trio of French players signed by Darlington on Transfer Deadline Day.

A commanding left-sided central defender, he went straight into the side two days later and immediately slotted into the back line, providing the accurate through ball that led to the Quakers' second goal.

He remained in the side until the end of the season and was rewarded with a two-year contract.

Subsequent events led to his contract being cancelled in November.
