After developing through the ranks at Hillsborough, Alex joined Queens Park Rangers on the transfer deadline day in March 2001 but featured mainly in the reserve side at Loftus Road. He was called up for Football League debut when he came on from the subs' bench for the final ten minutes of the last game of the season at Wolves. Alex is a promising midfield player.
Alex was released by Boston United in September 2003.
