Reeves is the twin of former Chesterfield forward, David Reeves.
He was a fixture in the heart of the Swindon Town defence in 2000-01, leading the team by example with a series of gritty determined displays.
Reeves weighed in with a few useful goals during the early part of the season, netting the winner at Bristol City and a last minute effort at home to Wycombe Wanderers to earn a point after the Robins had been reduced to ten men.
He is a tall central defender who is particularly effective in the air.
Reeves agreed a further year's deal in June 2004 at Swindon that also included coaching duties.
