Fettis had an outstanding season with York City in 2000-01 and his consistent displays were a huge factor in the Minstermen's successful battle in avoiding the dreaded drop into the Conference.
He is an excellent goalkeeper who is both brave and agile.
It was no surprise when he made a clean sweep of the end-of-season awards, winning the 'Clubman of the Year', Junior Reds and Supporters Club titles for best player.
Seven years after leaving the Tigers, Fettis returned to Hull City on a free transfer in January 2003 with a contract up to June 2005 but went on the transfer list in December 2003.
He joined Macclesfield Town in June 2004 on a two-year contract.
Fettis joined Bury in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
