Willis was a first choice in the heart of the Swindon defence at the beginning of 2000-01, but was then sidelined with a heel injury and it was not until April that he eventually returned to the side. He is a tall and steady central defender who is good in the air and not easily ruffled by opposing strikers.
Willis joined Kidderminster Harriers in August 2003 in a one-year deal.
