Adam Chambers spent most of the 2000-01 season in West Bromwich Albion's reserve team or sitting on the subs bench for the first team but stepped up to make his Football League debut at Stockport County in September 2000.
A versatile player who can occupy several positions, he prefers a defensive role in the main.
The twin brother of Albion's James Chambers, he scored his first goal in senior football when he netted in the 2-0 win over Portsmouth in February.
Adam was made available for transfer by West Bromwich Albion in December 2004 before his contract was cancelled in February 2005.
He joined Kidderminster Harriers a month later on non-contract terms.
Adam joined Leyton Orient in August 2006 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2009 in February 2007, to June 2010 in January 2008 and to June 2011.
He joined Walsall in July 2011 with a one-year contract.
His Saddlers contract was extended to June 2015 in June 2013 then to June 2016, to June 2017 in May 2016 and to June 2019 in June 2017.
