After spending the 2000 close season on loan in Norway with Moss FK, Aaron Wilbraham returned to Stockport County and went on to enjoy his best season to date for the Hatters.
He netted regularly throughout the campaign finishing as the club's leading scorer and carring off a number of awards including the 'Players' Player of the Year'.
A product of the Edgeley Park youth policy, the big striker not only looked strong in the air and skilful on the ball but he added a much greater degree of consistency to his game.
Aaron signed a new three-year contract with Stockport County in July 2003 but moved on to Hull City in July 2004 in a two-year deal.
He was made available for transfer in May 2005 and soon joined Milton Keynes Dons with a two-year deal that was extended to June 2009 in January 2006 then to June 2011 in December 2008.
Aaron joined Norwich City in January 2011 with a contract to June 2012.
He joined Crystal Palace in July 2012 with a two-year contract.
Aaron joined Bristol City in July 2014 with a one-year contract.
His Robins contract was extended to June 2017 in March 2016 and to June 2018 in July 2017.
He joined Bolton Wanderers in August 2017 with a one-year contract.
