Aaron Downes joined Chesterfield in August 2004 with an initial three-month contract.
This was subsequently extended to June 2007 in March 2005, to June 2008 in February 2006, to June 2011 in May 2009 and to June 2012 in May 2011.
Aaron joined Torquay United in July 2012 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2015 in June 2013 before he was made available for transfer in May 2014.
His contract at Cheltenham Town was extended to June 2018 in May 2017.
