Comments:

League position: 8th This was the first time that Wolverhampton Wanderers had conceded three or more goals in a game since Burnley's 4-0 win at Molineux in the Premier League on 25 April 2021. 57 goals had now been scored in Wolves’ 30 games in the Premier League in 2021-22 (for 31, against 26); fewer than any other team in the division. Both teams had now scored in nine of their 30 games so far in this Premier League season; the fewest in the division.

Comments:

League position: 16th This was the first time that Leeds United avoided defeat in their 48 games in the Premier League when they were two or more goals behind at half time. The Whites avoided losing four consecutive away league games without scoring for the first time since February 1927 in League Division One. 101 goals had now been scored in their 30 games in the Premier League so far in 2021-22 (for 34, against 67); more than any other team in the division. Mateusz Klich's replacement in the 45th minute was regarded as a concussion substitution, therefore allowing both teams the possibility to make four substitutions during the game. Unused sub Nohan Kenneh was shown a yellow card in the 90th minute due to joining the celebrations for Luke Ayling's injury time winner.
