Comments:

League position: 19th This was the first time that Wolverhampton Wanderers had conceded five or more goals in a game since a 6-0 defeat at Chelsea in the 3rd round of the League Cup on 25 September 2012. This was Wolves' first defeat in their last 11 home games in the Premier League. It ended their longest unbeaten run at Molineux in the top division since a 18-game sequence from 1971 to 1972 in League Division One. This was the 300th game of Nuno Espírito Santo's managerial career.

Comments:

League position: 6th Chelsea became the first team to score 11 consecutive goals in the Premier League by players aged 21 or younger (excluding own goals). The previous record of ten goals was set by Leeds United from September to October in 1999. Tammy Abraham became the first-ever player to score a hat-trick and an own goal in the same game in the top division. The only other players to achieve the same feat in the Football League had been Alf Wood of Shrewsbury Town against Rotherham United in August 1970 and Andy Booth of Huddersfield Town against Chester City in March 1995. Tammy Abraham also became the third player aged 21 or younger to score two or more goals in three consecutive appearances in the Premier League after Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United in December 2006 and Dele Alli for Tottenham Hotspur in January 2017. Only newly-promoted Norwich City (12) had now conceded more goals so far in this Premier League season than the Blues (11).
