Comments:

League position: 19th For the second game in a row, West Bromwich Albion's relegation to the League Championship would have been confirmed had they not won this game. However, it was confirmed three days later with Southampton's win at Swansea City. The Baggies were now unbeaten in their last five games in the Premier League (won three); only Liverpool (six) were on a longer such run in the competition. Albion became the only non 'big six' team to avoid defeat against two 'big six' teams so far in this Premier League season (also drew both games against Liverpool).

Comments:

League position: 4th Tottenham Hotspur became the first club to play 500 away games in the Premier League (won 159, lost 209). They had now lost 20 games in the Premier League due to goals scored in the 90th minute or later; more than any other team in the competition's history. Spurs failed to score for the first time in their last 24 league games since a 2-0 loss at Arsenal on 18 November 2017; their longest such run since April 1987.
