Comments:

League position: 9th Watford had now won more home league games in a top division season (seven) since 1986-87 when they won 12 under manager Graham Taylor. Troy Deeney became the fourth player to score 100 league goals for the Hornets. He also became the first Watford player to score in four consecutive home games in the Premier League. Miguel Britos became the third player to be shown two red cards in this Premier League season after Fernandinho of Manchester City and Granit Xhaka of Arsenal. Daryl Janmaat replaced Sebastian Prodl in the third minute of added time in the first-half. Watford manager Walter Mazzarri said: "I'm very happy for my team. The players played very well. It was a great game. I said before the game they were a good side and had two good results against Manchester United and Arsenal."

Comments:

League position: 8th West Bromwich Albion were now without a win in their last six away games in the Premier League (lost three). After 31 games, due to Gareth McAuley's substitution, goalkeeper Ben Foster was now the only Albion player to not miss a minute of their Premier League games so far in this season. A Baggies player has yet to achieve this feat in a completed Premier League season. Albion had now kept two clean sheets in their last ten away games in the Premier League. James McClean was booked in the sixth minute of added time in the first-half. West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis said: "We gave two poor goals away. We still had chances and possessions. Chadli could come out another day with a hat-trick, so we are disappointed."
