League position: 7th Watford had now won four consecutive Premier League games and consecutive home games in the Premier League for the first time in their history. They had now kept three consecutive clean sheets in the league for the first time since February 2014. After only 17 games, the Hornets had now equalled their total points tally of 28 from their last Premier League season in 2006-07. Their last top division win by a three-goal margin was 3-0 in League Division One against Oxford United on 9 April 1988.
