Comments:

League position: 8th This equalled Watford's biggest win in the Premier League at Vicarage Road; also versus Chelsea on 5 February 2018 which was manager Javi Gracia's first home game in charge. This was the Hornets' 13th league win of 2018-19; their most in a top division season since 1986-87 (18 in League Division One). With six games still to play, they had now created a new club record of 46 points in a season in the Premier League (previously 45 in 2015-16).

Comments:

League position: 19th In their 33rd game of the season, this result confirmed Fulham's relegation to the League Championship. With Huddersfield Town already relegated, this became the second Premier League season when two teams had been relegated with at least five games still to play; also Leicester City and Ipswich Town in 1994-95. They had now lost their last nine games in the Premier League, including all five under caretaker manager Scott Parker. Ryan Babel's goal was the Whites' 600th goal in the Premier League (played 527, conceded 773). Despite spending over £100million following their promotion in the previous season, Fulham had now conceded 76 goals in this Premier League season. Only Rochdale in the top four divisions had conceded more (76).
