Comments:

League position: 3rd Tottenham Hotspur had now remained unbeaten in their opening ten home games of a Premier League season for only the second time (also 2000-01). Dele Alli became the second player to score two goals in three consecutive Premier League games for Tottenham Hotspur (also Teddy Sheringham in September 1995). Spurs had now yet to lose a Premier League game when Dele Alli had scored (played 16, won 12).

Comments:

League position: 1st Having won their last 13 league games, Chelsea failed in their attempt to equal Arsenal's all-time record of 14 consecutive wins in the top division. The Blues had conceded only one goal in winning their six preceding away games in the Premier League. This was only the second time they had failed to score in their last 25 Premier League games.
