Comments:

League position: 9th Tottenham Hotspur had now won two of their 12 games they had played at the new Wembley Stadium in all competitions. Spurs have dropped more Premier League points in two games at Wembley (five) than at White Hart Lane in the whole of the previous season (four). Harry Kane had now failed to score in all 13 Premier League games he had played in the month of August. Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino said: "The feeling is not so great because of the way we conceded the last goal. That is football. It was a tough game. Difficult for us to play. This is only the beginning of the season. It is better it happens now. The only way to fix conceding is to work hard during the week. When everyone is back from the international break, we will do that."

League position: 10th This was Burnley's first appearance at Wembley Stadium since their League Championship Play-off Final win against Sheffield United in 2009. The Clarets remained unbeaten in their first two away games of a top division season for the first time since 1973-74. They had now taken seven points from their last three Premier League games in London after taking only two points from their previous 15 visits to the capital in the competition. Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: “You know you have to work hard to come away with anything against a very fine side, and I thought we did that. There was 20 minutes there when we were playing at Wembley against Tottenham and we were absolutely first class. What a ball and what a finish for the goal, by the way. It was absolutely first class, and Chris Wood will have that marker for himself of scoring on his debut at Wembley for a long time.”
