Comments:

Zlaten Ibrahimovic became the first player to score four goals in a game against England. It was also the first hat-trick to be conceded by England since Marco Van Basten's for Netherlands in the European Championship finals in Dusseldorf on 15 June 1988. Ibrahimovic is also the first player to score four goals in a game for Sweden since he achieved the feat on 4 September 2004. He scored his other national quartet in a 7-0 World Cup qualifying victory in Malta.

Comments:

At 17 years and 341 days, Raheem Sterling became the fifth youngest and the fifth 17 year-old to appear in a full international for England. Leon Osman (at 31 years and and 181 days) was also making his first appearance so the gap of nearly 14 years between him and Raheem Stering became the largest between two players making their England debut in the same game.
