Wilfried Bony had now scored two goals in his last two Premier League games; as many as he had scored in his previous 28 games in the competition. Wilfried Bony had now scored in consecutive Premier League games for the first time since December 2014 (also for Swansea City).

Comments:

League position: 17th West Bromwich Albion were now without a win in their last 14 Premier League games (lost seven), their longest such run in the Premier League since August 2008. The Baggies failed in their attempt to draw four consecutive top division games in the same season for the first time since March 1983. Albion had now scored one goal in their last four away games in the Premier League.
