League position: 14th Charlie Austin's goal was his first in the Premier League since he scored on his Southampton debut against Manchester United in January. Recently appointed manager Claude Puel avoided becoming the first Saints boss to go without a win in his first five Premier League games since Harry Redknapp between December 2004 and January 2005. The Saints kept a clean sheet for the first time in their last 17 Premier League games.
