League position: 17th This was the first time that Southampton had led by two goals at half-time in a game in the Premier League since the visit of Fulham on 27 February 2019. 12 of the Saints’ last 11 goals in the Premier League had now been scored by Danny Ings (seven) and James Ward-Prowse (four). They had now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 home games in the Premier League.

Comments:

League position: 19th Norwich City failed in their attempt to remain unbeaten in three consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since April 2016. 11 of the Canaries' 15 games so far in this Premier League season had now been against teams that had started the day in the bottom half of the table. They had won two and lost nine of those games. Only Jamie Vardy of Leicester City (26) and Hull City's Jarrod Bowen (24) had now scored more league goals in the top four divisions in 2019 than Teemu Pukki (22).
