Comments:

League position: 18th Southampton had now lost consecutive games in the Premier League when they scored two goals in both games for the first time. On his Premier League debut, Jan Bednarek became the third Polish player to score in the competition after Robert Warzycha in 1992 and Marcin Wasilewski in 2015. Mark Hughes became the second manager to lose three Premier League games against the same opponent in a season (also Graeme Souness versus Arsenal in 2004-05).

Comments:

League position: 5th This was the first time that Chelsea had won a game in the Premier League after trailing by two goals since 17 August 2002 at Charlton Athletic. Only Frank Lampard (147) and Didier Drogba (104) had now scored more goals for the Blues in the Premier League than Eden Hazard (69). Olivier Giroud became the first player to score an away goal against the same opponent for different clubs in Premier League season since Mikel Arteta for Everton and Arsenal against Blackburn Rovers in 2011-12.
