Comments:

League position: 18th Southampton were now without a win in their last 12 games in the Premier League so equalling their longest ever run without a win the competition set in March 1995. The Saints had now won three of their last 19 home games in the Premier League and scored only 16 goals in those games. Jack Stephens scored his first-ever goal in the Premier League in his 30th appearance.

Comments:

League position: 15th Brighton and Hove Albion had taken two points from their last seven away games in the Premier League. The Seagulls avoided equalling their club record of seven consecutive away league games without a goal set in 1934-35 and 1956-57. Glenn Murray had now equalled his highest scoring season in the Premier League (also seven goals in 2014-15 for Crystal Palace).
