Comments:

League position: 20th Norwich City had now won one of their last 15 games in the Premier League. The Canaries remained without a win in their last seven home games in the Premier League and without a clean sheet in their last 14 games at Carrow Road in the top division. In a sequence dating back to April 2005, City remained unbeaten in seven games when they started the day at the bottom of the Premier League table (won five). Ralf Fährmann was originally named amongst the substitutes before suffering an injury in the pre-match warm-up. Michael McGovern took his place on the bench. Teemu Pukki scored after 33 minutes but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.
