Comments:

Middlesbrough scored two first-half goals for the first time since their 3-0 win against Swansea City in the Premier League on 17 December 2016. Boro had now not lost an FA Cup home match against lower division opposition since the 6th round in 2007-08 when they lost against Cardiff City.

Comments:

Oxford United were now the top scoring team in the FA Cup so far in this season with 16 goals. They only conceded twice on their road to the 5th round. There were exactly 60 seconds between United's first goal and their equaliser.
