Comments:

League position: 4th Manchester United had now gone 555 playing minutes without conceding a goal in all competitions. They had now kept eight clean sheets in the Premier League in 2015-16; the most in the division. Having failed to score in their previous two Premier League games, United avoided failing to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since August 2007. United had now lost just one of their last 14 Premier League games at Old Trafford (won ten). Juan Mata scored from the penalty spot in the first minute of added time in the second half.
