Zlatan Ibrahimović had now scored 19 goals in 29 appearances for United. Wayne Rooney became the 21st player to make 450 appearances in the Premier League (383 fof the Red Devils).

The Reds had now failed to score in only two of their last 18 away games in the Premier League.
