League position: 6th With this draw, Manchester United failed in their attempt to win ten consecutive games in all competitions for the first time since February 2009. Zlatan Ibrahimović had now scored 19 goals in 29 appearances for United. Wayne Rooney became the 21st player to make 450 appearances in the Premier League (383 fof the Red Devils).

The Reds had now failed to score in only two of their last 18 away games in the Premier League.
