Comments:

League position: 6th Ralf Rangnick became the sixth German manager in the Premier League (also Felix Magath, Jürgen Klopp, Jan Siewert, Daniel Farke and Thomas Tuchel) and the first to win his first game in charge. This was the first time that United had kept a clean sheet in their last 16 home games in all competitions; their only longer such run was 21 games from April 1958 to March 1959. The Red Devils had now won consecutive games in all competitions for the second time in the 2021-22 season.

Comments:

League position: 13th Crystal Palace had now lost three consecutive games in the Premier League for the first time since August 2021. Palace failed in their attempt to become the first London club to win at the two Manchester clubs in the same top division season since Arsenal in 1990-91 in League Division One. They had now taken 16 points from their 15 games so far in this Premier League season; two points fewer than at the same stage of the previous season.
