Comments:

League position: 2nd Manchester United had now won all 11 games in all competitions at Old Trafford when Romelu Lukaku had scored. Romelu Lukaku had now scored 13 goals in the Premier League so far in this season but this was his first against a team currently in the top eight. Jesse Lingard’s goal was the tenth scored by a United substitute so far in this Premier League season; more than any other team.

Comments:

League position: 5th Chelsea had now won two of their last ten away games in all competitions (lost four). The Blues had won all 15 previous games in this Premier League season when they had scored the first goal of the game. They had now lost consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since November 2015, when they were managed by current Manchester United boss José Mourinho.
