League position: 6th Manchester United had now taken 102 points from their 59 games in the Premier League since 1 January 2021 (won 28, lost 13). Cristiano Ronaldo had now scored nine of United’s last 12 goals in the Premier League. The Red Devils had now won five of their last 17 games in all competitions. Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 44th minute but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an offside decision.
