They won a 1st round replay 4-2 at the Crystal Palace ground, which was also the venue for Wolves' FA Cup Final triumph in April 1908. . This was the first time they had been knocked out of the FA Cup by a non-league team since December 1963, when a then League Division Three Palace lost a 2nd round tie (3-1) at Southern League Yeovil Town. .
