The Swans had now lost nine of their last 12 games in the Premier League (won one). This was their joint-heaviest defeat in the Premier League (also 0-5 at home to Chelsea on 17 January 2015, at Liverpool on 17 February 2013 and at Tottenham Hotspur on 3 December 2016).
