The Reds had now won consecutive games in the Premier League by a 1-0 margin for the first time since December 2015. Mohamed Salah became the second player to convert 15 consecutive penalties in the Premier League after Southampton's Matthew Le Tissier (23 from January 1994 to April 2000).
