League position: 10th Leeds United had now lost three of their last 19 league games (won 14). The Whites failed to scored for the second time in their last 19 league games. This was United's first league defeat at Elland Road since the visit of Wigan Athletic in the League Championship on 1 February 2020 (0-1). Liam Cooper was originally named in the starting line-up before suffering an injury in the pre-match warm-up.
