Comments:

League position: 10th Leeds United became the first newly-promoted team to win 13 of their first 30 games in the Premier League since Reading in 2006-07. The Whites had now won all five games so far in this Premier League season against teams in the bottom three. They retained their record of not having lost a game in the top division at Elland Road against a team they had a lead of 25 or more points in the table since the visit of Sheffield United on 14 April 1976 in League Division One. League position: 20th After 30 games, Sheffield United had now conceded the first goal in 23 games so far in this Premier League season; more than any other team in the division (lost 21). Ben Osborn scored his first goal since playing for Nottingham Forest against Leeds United in the League Championship on 1 January 2019. Only Richard Dunne (ten) had conceded more own goals in the Premier League than Phil Jagielka (seven). George Baldock was replaced by Ethan Ampadu after 45 minutes under the new concussion substitute protocol. This did not count as one of Sheffield United's three regular changes.
